Finally the boring All-Star Week is over.
Yeah it could be seemed nice to see NBA’s most talented players on the ground in a game but in the reality there is no excitement in an All-Star game. Teams don’t make any defense. No struggling for the win. (Maybe a little in the end of the game.) Well most of the people can like it but not me. I do like wild, challenging games. I’ve never liked these All-Star games and the All-Star weeks except for some contests. (i.e. slam dunk contest, 3-point contest)
Anyways. The All-Star week began on 16th February and ended on 21st February. In the meantime there weren’t played any normal games in NBA. A short break for the players before the playoffs. And All-Star means also that the playoffs came quite close.
OK. Let’s come to the real games and teams.
There are a few really hot teams in the NBA for the time being: Rockets got their 12th straight win. Jazz lost only one game in their last 13 games. A real surprise has happened in the NBA where 76ers won their 8th straight win which we are not used to for too many seasons. An interesting performance from 76ers which was famous of its consecutive losses for many years. And Pelicans won their 5th straight game despite the loss of DeMarcus Cousins.
There are also very “cold” teams in the NBA: Grizzlies and Suns lost their 9th consecutive games. Nets has 8th consecutive losses. Quite terrible!
Nikola Jokic (DEN) made three straight triple doubles which is a tough thing in the NBA.
As we mantioned above, Rockets are too hot. Jazz tries to make the playoff debut. They are too hot but they still are not on the playoff bracket (yet).
Warriors are not so good as we were expected but they are still a tough team to beat.
Cavaliers is in its “normal” state. Cavaliers will have much more better games in the playoffs I think. Because the playoff performance of LeBron James is really high.
