2018 NBA Champion, 2018 NBA Finals, Andre Iguodala, Cleveland Cavaliers, Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors, JaVale McGee, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, LeBron James, Stephen Curry
Yes. Golden State Warriors did it again. They won their 3rd straight NBA title. (3rd in the last four seasons.)
Well Cavaliers had only LeBron James and he pushed too hard to win the games while Warriors had Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Also Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and -surprisingly- JaVale McGee did important contribution to Warriors during the playoffs. The performance of Kevin Love to Cavaliers wasn’t enough for the championship.
I thought that Cavaliers could resist a bit more but nope, they couldn’t get even a single win. They lost with 4-0 against Warriors.
Also Kevin Durant got the finals MVP award.
Well Warriors have a great team and if they can keep their squad then they will be the #1 candidate for the NBA finals in the next decade. And there are -almost- no team which is close to them.
King James is a free agent for the next season. I think that he will leave Cavaliers for the next season and his choice will change some balances in the NBA. If he is going to choose a team like i.e. Houston Rockets then Rockets can win the title. But if he is going to choose an “above average” team i.e. Milwaukee Bucks then it will be doubtful for winning the title. Well we will see which team will LeBron James will choose. But his choose will change the balance in the NBA anyway. Philadelphia 76ers will be an interesting choice for him. Then we can watch 76ers vs. Warriors NBA finals in the next decade.
